How to Manage Book Orders

Track and fulfill book orders from placement to delivery. Manage order status, shipping, and customer communication.


Order Management Dashboard

  1. Go to Books → Orders
  2. View all orders with filters:
FilterOptions
StatusPending, Processing, Shipped, Delivered, Cancelled
Date RangeToday, This Week, This Month, Custom
PaymentPaid, Unpaid, Refunded
SearchBy order ID, student name, or phone

Order Lifecycle

Order Placed → Pending
    ↓
Payment Confirmed → Processing
    ↓
Packed & Shipped → Shipped (with tracking number)
    ↓
Delivered → Delivered
    ↓ (if needed)
Returned → Refunded

Updating Order Status

  1. Click on an order to view details
  2. Click Update Status
  3. Select the new status
  4. Add optional notes (e.g., tracking number, delivery partner)
  5. Click Update
  6. Student is notified via SMS/email (if configured)

Order Details

Each order shows:

Bulk Actions

Order Analytics

  • Total Orders: Count by status and time period
  • Revenue from Books: Total book sales revenue
  • Popular Books: Best-selling titles
  • Order Trends: Daily/weekly/monthly order volume
