How to Manage Question Banks
The Question Bank is a centralized repository where all questions live, organized by your curriculum hierarchy. Questions created here can be used in any exam across the organization.
How the Question Bank Works

Key Concept: The question bank is global across your organization. Questions are shared between all branches, courses, and exams. Create once, use everywhere.
Navigating the Question Bank
- Go to Question Bank in the sidebar
- Use the left panel to drill down through the curriculum:
- Subject → Chapter → Topic
- Use filters:
- Question Type — MCQ, CQ, SQ
- Difficulty — Easy, Medium, Hard
- Tags — Filter by custom tags
- Use the search bar to find questions by text content

Question Bank Features

Adding Questions
There are three ways to add questions:

Using Questions in Exams
When creating an exam, you can pull questions from the bank:
- Create or open an Exam
- Click Add Questions from Bank
- Filter by subject, chapter, topic, difficulty, and tags
- Select individual questions or use auto-select with distribution rules
- The selected questions are linked to the exam
Important: Questions are linked, not copied. If you update a question in the bank, the change reflects in all exams that use it.
Question Statistics
The question bank tracks usage statistics for each question:
| Stat | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Times Used | How many exams have included this question |
| Average Score | Mean score across all students who attempted it |
| Difficulty Indicator | Calculated difficulty based on actual performance |
| Last Used | When the question was last included in an exam |
These stats help you identify questions that are too easy, too hard, or overused.
