How to See Results & Give Grace Marks

After an exam is completed, you can view detailed results, apply grace marks if needed, and publish the final results to students.


Viewing Results

  1. Go to Exams → open the exam
  2. Click the Results tab
  3. You'll see the merit list:

Individual Answer Sheet

  1. Click on any student in the results list
  2. View their detailed answer sheet:
    • Each question with their answer and the correct answer
    • ✅ Correct, ❌ Wrong, ⏭️ Skipped indicators
    • Marks obtained per question
    • For CQ/SQ: Teacher's grading and feedback

Filtering Results

  • Filter by batch — See results for specific batches
  • Filter by score range — e.g., students scoring below 40%
  • Filter by status — Pass, Fail, or Not Attempted

Grace Marks

Grace marks are bonus marks you can add after the exam — useful when a question had an error, marking was too strict, or a universal adjustment is needed.

  1. Open the ExamResults tab
  2. Click the Grace Marks button
  3. Choose the scope:

  1. Enter the marks to add
  2. Provide a reason (for audit trail)
  3. Click Apply

Note: Grace marks are logged with the reason and admin who applied them. This creates an audit trail for transparency.


Publishing Results

Results can be published after review:

  1. Review all submissions and ensure grading is complete
  2. Apply any grace marks if needed
  3. Click Publish Results
  4. Students are notified via:
    • Push notification (mobile app)
    • Email (if configured)
    • In-app notification (student portal)

What Students See After Publishing

  • Score & Percentage — Their marks and percentage
  • Merit Position — Rank among all participants
  • Per-question Analysis — Correct/Wrong/Skipped for each question
  • Solution Explanations — If explanations were added to questions
  • Comparative Performance — How they performed vs. average

Exporting Results

  1. Click Export on the Results tab
  2. Choose format:
    • Excel (.xlsx) — Full detail with all columns
    • CSV — Simple format for data processing
    • PDF — Formatted merit list for printing
  3. The export includes all columns visible in the results table
