How to Create Teachers

Add teacher accounts, configure profiles, and assign them to specific courses and branches

How to Create Teachers

Teachers are a core part of your organization. They can manage courses, create exams, grade assignments, and conduct live classes — but only for courses they're explicitly assigned to.


Two Ways to Add Teachers

Method 1 — Invite as Team Member

Best when the teacher needs dashboard access and will manage courses themselves.

  1. Go to Settings → Team Members → Invite Member
  2. Enter the teacher's email address
  3. Select the Teacher role
  4. Click Send Invitation
  5. The teacher receives an email, creates an account (if needed), and joins your organization
  6. After joining, configure their permissions

Method 2 — Create from Teachers Module

Best when you want to create a teacher profile for display purposes (shown on the website and course pages).

  1. Go to Teachers in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Teacher
  3. Fill in:
    • Name — Full name
    • Email — Contact email
    • Phone — Contact number
    • Bio — A short biography (shown on the website)
    • Profile Photo — Professional headshot (recommended 400×400)
    • Specialization — Subjects they teach
  4. Click Create

Assigning a Teacher to a Course

Teachers only see courses they're assigned to. Here's how to assign:

  1. Open the Course you want to assign a teacher to
  2. Go to the Settings tab
  3. Scroll to the Teachers section
  4. Click Assign Teacher
  5. Select the teacher from the dropdown list
  6. Click Save

What Assigned Teachers Can Do

Mark attendance
View course analytics
Delete the course

Teacher Profiles on the Website

Teacher profiles are displayed on your website:

  • On the course page under "Instructors"
  • On a dedicated "Our Teachers" page (if configured)

A professional teacher profile includes:

  • High-quality photo — Builds trust with students and parents
  • Detailed bio — Education, experience, achievements
  • Specialization — Subjects and areas of expertise

Managing Teachers

Editing a Teacher Profile

  1. Go to Teachers in the sidebar
  2. Click on the teacher's name
  3. Edit any field
  4. Click Save

Removing a Teacher from a Course

  1. Open the Course → Settings tab
  2. In the Teachers section, click the remove icon next to the teacher
  3. Confirm removal

Note: Removing a teacher from a course only revokes their access to that course. Their account and other course assignments remain intact.
